The Patio @ Rudy’s is the perfect restaurant for those who want to kick things back and watch a sports game and great quality food. M-A parents Megan and Mark Kawkab have operated the downtown Palo Alto restaurant for 11 years. “It’s a huge commitment owning a restaurant,” Mark said. “It’s like our home.”
Buffalo and Sweet and Spicy Wings: 10/10
Some spicy wings are too mellow, but these have just the perfect kick and a bold, tangy buffalo flavor. The sweet and spicy wings were even better. The flavor danced all over my tongue as both flavors were very present and alive. The wings were cooked to perfection, being both crispy and juicy.
Angus Burger and Chicken Slider: 9/10
The angus burger slider was juicy and cooked flawlessly. The sliders with tomato and lettuce were paired with tater tots that melt in your mouth. It comes with either blue cheese or ranch dressing. The ranch was creamy and tangy, and the blue cheese was thick, rich, and they both paired well with the sliders and tater tots.
Chocolate Cake: 10/10
The chocolate cake was perfect to finish off a delicious meal. The cake was moist and the frosting was rich and had a smooth texture. It was decorated with whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and powdered sugar, all of which came together for a party of flavors.
