Senior Valentine Lee’s style takes on an edgy vibe that is truly unique. “I just do what I want. My style is mine and I just try to not bore the hell out of myself,” they said. Lee mixes their creativity into their fashion. “I wear clothes I bought a really long time ago, and I try not to buy new clothes anymore. I also make some of my clothes, like this shirt I have on,” they said. They paired their self-made shirt with an H&M jacket, a Uniqlo tank top, and black Hot Topic pants.

Junior Audrey Majzun gets most of her style inspiration from TikTok and her Pinterest board. “I like mixing thrifted pieces with regular basics,” she said. That’s just how she styled this outfit—jeans from Vinted, shoes from Savers, shirt from Brandy Melville, and jacket from Goodwill bins. Majzun said she buys “whatever’s the cheapest,” often shopping at Goodwill or Salvation Army.

Senior Lera Popova wears jean shorts from Mexico and UGG boots, taking fashion inspiration from late 2000s Japanese styles like gyaru, harajuku, and Japanese streetwear. “I’m on Pinterest a lot looking at runway pictures,” she said. “My style also depends on my mood.” Popova thrifts a lot of her clothes, sometimes online and sometimes in-person. “I like going to curated thrift stores, as well as Depop, Mercari, and apps like those.” Her favorite current fashion trend is indie sleaze revival. “It’s chill, laid-back outfits but with high end clothing. It looks effortless,” she said.
