Snippets From the 2025 Homecoming Rally

The Bears all gathered in the gym for this year’s Homecoming Rally on Friday. Students showed up in their best camo attire for the final day of Homecoming spirit day. The event featured games, teacher dances, performances from the Pacific Islander Club, and high spirits from the dance and cheer team. The rally was in Ayer’s Gym for the first time since 2018, moving inside from Coach Parks Field.

Junior Caitlyn Kavanaugh, a member of the dance team, enjoyed having the rally inside the gym this year. “It gives us more energy to continue doing better, whereas, when we’re on the football field, a lot of people are kind of dead and not saying anything,” Kavanaugh said. “Hearing people’s reactions to it is also always kind of fun.”

Senior Millo Skhiri, one of the presenters at the rally, also enjoyed the switch. “I think it’s amazing that it’s in the gym, because usually in the football field, it’s a lot quieter and no one’s really getting into the hype,” he said.

“My favorite part of presenting and being at the rally was seeing the whole M-A community come together,” Skhiri said. “Seeing M-A really come together as one and really be spirited together.”
