Fresas Con Crema ($10.99): 9/10

Fresas con crema is a classic Mexican sweet treat that arrives served with whipped cream, a waffle cookie, and coconut shavings that harmonize with the creamy dessert. The coconut shavings cover the top layer to add a distinct flavor to prepare for the sweet and tart flavors of the fresh strawberries and light pink cream. The dessert is sweet and crunchy from the waffle cookie and includes a satisfying strawberry aftertaste.
Piña Loca ($22.99): 10/10

The piña loca is a stunning masterpiece encased in a beautifully decorated pineapple. Before even tasting, the smell of licorice, tamarindo, and various fresh fruits and spices is enticing. With the first bites, the perfectly crunchy mango and pineapple provide a sweet, cold, and tropical flavor. The licorice then adds a popping sensation that follows with the pineapple, cucumber, and jicama. The piña loca definitely lives up to its name, with its thrilling flavors and captivating image. Despite being challenging to eat, the snack’s captivating spices and cold fruit make it irresistible.
Chicharrones Preparados ($11.99): 8/10

Chicharrones preparados are a savory and crunchy snack made from deep-fried pork skin or pork belly that is served with many toppings. The dish doesn’t stand out among all the options, but its variety of toppings gives it a well-rounded flavor that makes it a decent choice. The highlight of the chicharrones is the amount of avocados and bell peppers that add a nice touch to the crunch of the chicharrón and lettuce. The spice from the Valentina sauce and cheese takes time to kick in, but it adds more moisture and flavor to the palate.
Bomba Verde ($6.99): 6/10

The unique and green bomba verde is a flavorful juice with multiple healthy ingredients, with the celery, lemon, and spinach being the most noticeable and appealing in the drink. At first sip, it appears very citrusy, but it ends with a clear and smooth celery aftertaste. The bomba verde doesn’t offer any significant flavor or overpower any singular flavor, but unfortunately, the taste quickly becomes tangy and bitter.
Raspado Con Lechera Piña ($6.99): 10/10

The piña raspado does everything and more to incorporate every sweet and delicious aspect and flavor of pineapple. The bright yellow drink offers both a cold and refreshing feel and a soothing yet crunchy taste from its shaved ice. The drink also offers the luscious flavor with its sweet taste, balanced by a subtle milk and satisfying acidic pineapple flavor. It’s a delightful drink for a quick and sweet refreshment.
Raspado Con Lechera Fresa ($6.99): 5/10

While the fresa raspado looks soft and refreshing, it falls short in comparison to other options. The drink is refreshingly cold and has a subtle sweet flavor, but fails to impress beyond that. It lacks much of a strawberry flavor, and the taste takes time to kick in. The fresh raspado also has a soft milk flavor, but doesn’t offer an even amount of sweetness as anticipated.
