Editors-in-Chief

Gaby is a junior in her third year of journalism. Beyond her role as Editor-in-Chief, she copy edits and designs for The Mark. She’s covered political rallies, a record-breaking sit-in, board meetings, and more. In her time away from the Chronicle, you can find her on the track or with friends.

Becca is a junior in her second year of journalism. Along with her roles as Editor-in-Chief, she loves to cover local news, political trends, and district board meetings. When not writing or copy editing, she designs layouts for The Mark.

Culture & Features Editor

Rose is a junior in her second year of journalism. She runs Bears Doing Big Things, a weekly column featuring alumni, and copy edits. She has reported on last year’s Ethnic Studies conflicts and loves writing staff features.

News Editors

Leah is a junior in her first year of journalism. She likes photography and writing about culture and sports. She also enjoys volunteering with the Service Learning Center in her free time.

Isabel is a junior in her second year of journalism. Along with copyediting, she enjoys reporting on sports, politics, and behind-the-scenes stories of M-A.

Alessandra is a junior in her first year of journalism. She enjoys writing about sports, school events, and the crossroads between AI and education.

Sports Editor

Ben is a senior in his second year of journalism. As sports editor, he covers a variety of sports and oversees the Chronicle's sports page. Ben also plays volleyball for M-A.

Events Editor

Jenna is a junior in her second year of journalism. She loves talking to people of all ages and backgrounds and hopes to share their unique stories and perspectives. Jenna enjoys covering M-A and Menlo Park celebrations that bring awareness and offerings to teens and local residents.

Design Editor

Caitlin is a senior in her second year of journalism. As design editor, she makes designs and leads the design team for The Mark. Outside of designing, she likes to illustrate, copy edit, and write the occasional story.

Social Media Manager

Amari is a junior in her second year of journalism. From reporting a local teacher strike to the best new albums, she covers a bit of everything. When not writing, she designs for the Mark and works on the social media team for the M-A Chronicle.

Copy Editors

Morgan was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2024-25. She covered local politics, reviews books, and enjoyed writing about culture.

Celine was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2022-25. In her senior year, she served as Editor-in-Chief and was on the Editorial Board. Her feature on Mayor Antonio López was a finalist for JEANC Best Profile Feature Story. She enjoyed designing layouts for The Mark and writing stories about detracking and the community. Celine was also a part of M-A's Leadership-ASB.

Tessa was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2022-25. In her senior year, she served as Sports Editor, and was a member of the Editorial Board. She loved writing about football games from the sidelines and was a part of the design team for The Mark. When not editing or writing for the Chronicle, she spent most of her time on the tennis court.

Allegra was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2023-25. In her senior year, she served as Social Media Manager and was a copy editor. She loved to write album reviews as well as cover District news.

Ameya was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2022-25. In his senior year, he served as News Editor and was a member of the Editorial Board. He enjoyed writing stories about education policy, sports, and local news and politics. He has reported on chronic absenteeism, state testing, and teacher diversity.

Alli is a junior in her first year of journalism. She enjoys reporting on school board meetings and student political participation.

Ben was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2022-25. In his senior year, he served as Editor-in-Chief and was a member of the Editorial Board. He enjoyed covering breaking news and music. His opinion piece calling for improved Holocaust education was recognized by CSPA as the best personal opinion about an on-campus issue in 2023.

Ella was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2024-25. She covered local politics and secret organizations.

Maeve was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2024-25. She covered local news and sports.

Celeste Zucker was a journalist for the M-A Chronicle from 2022-25. In her senior year, she served as the Culture & Features Editor and was a member of the Editorial Board. She enjoyed writing profiles, including over 20 on alumni for the Bears Doing Big Things column, and opinion pieces. Zucker also covered politics through a human interest lens, phone policies, digital media, and albums. Her feature on La Biscotteria was recognized as a Top 10 Blog Posts by NSPA in 2023. She also wrote for The GirlTalk Magazine and her articles were republished in The Almanac, InMenlo, and RIFF Magazine.
