Grilled Chicken Lavash Wrap ($20): 10/10

The chicken lavash wrap combines grilled chicken, hummus, and chopped vegetable bits into a flavorful and enticing bite. The chicken is deeply seasoned with za’atar, which includes thyme, oregano, and cumin, providing a richness without overpowering the dish. The combination of textures between the creamy hummus and the tender chicken makes the dish stand out. While not very large, the wrap is still filling, making it a reasonable option as a meal on its own. Those not in the mood for chicken can opt for Bubbelah’s beef lavash wrap instead.

This popular dish is a great addition to the menu, as the cheese-filled bread pairs perfectly with hummus and other dips. The bread is well-textured and has a solid consistency that makes it especially appealing. Overall, the quality and flavor of the cheesy bread provide a strong complement to other dishes.

Brightly colored and visually appealing, this chopped salad is a refreshing bite. It incorporates fresh vegetables and Egyptian dukkah—a mixture of ground toasted nuts, seeds, and spices. While it pairs well with other menu items, it doesn’t quite hold its own as a standalone dish because its light ingredients make it a less filling option.

Hummus ($11): 10/10

Bubbelah’s hummus hits all of the marks, with an appealing creamy texture and a delicious flavor. The hummus is rich in flavor but not overpowering, making it a quality dip for many of the other featured menu items. The restaurant stays true to this classic dish while adding just enough of its own twist to make the dip memorable. Tahini and lemon combine to create a subtly smooth flavor profile that helps the hummus stand out.
