Highlights From the 2024 Homecoming Rally

Bears came out decked in pirate gear for this year’s Homecoming rally on Friday. Featuring exciting performances from the Pacific Islander Club, dance and cheer teams, and teachers, the rally was a spirited start to Homecoming weekend.

Senior Leni Fakavama, a member of the Pacific Islander Club, had spent over two weeks preparing a traditional Polynesian dance for the rally. “My favorite part was the amount of energy that is being put into the rally and how involved our school is,” she said.

To make the most out of their pirate theme, Leadership transformed the football field bleachers into a large ship.  “We had the idea to build a big pirate ship out of wood and styrofoam,” junior Elise Miller said. For two weeks leading up to the rally, students came to school over the weekend to work on the project.
