Students Enjoy Bubbly Lunch on the Green

Leadership’s Bubble Day on the Green at lunch was a great success and let students to embrace their inner child. Attracting students from all grades, the event featured fun music and themed food, from bubble tea to bubble waffles and bubble gum.

How could it not be a success? “Bubbles are just fun,” junior Samantha Richman said.

Bubble Day was the first of Leadership’s many theme day events this year––from Rodeo Week to Cheese Day and the widely-renowned Corn Day. The event featured a bubble machine and the Green was packed with students who wanted to have a good time with their friends.

“This is the second time around, but it’s really expanded this year,” Leadership student and junior Olivia Tantisira said about improving this event in its second year. The addition of bubble themed food was a highlight for many people. The Asian Culture Club sold bubble tea and Leadership sold bubble waffles on the Green, accompanied by bubbly music to brighten the atmosphere.

The bubble tea and waffles were so popular that they sold out in minutes, with students crowding around the tables, eager to buy a treat. “It’s been fun to see everyone coming together for one event,” freshman and Asian Culture Club member Aiko Robinson said.
