Bracelets are an eye-catching way to personalize any outfit. Whether stacked along the wrist or worn as a single statement piece, these versatile accessories are easy to spot at M-A. With endless possibilities of colors, designs, and meanings, bracelets allow students to express themselves through their everyday looks.

Sophomore Skarlette Pech wears a mix of beaded bracelets and bangles. “I just think they’re really cute, and they add to an outfit,” she said. “I actually made all the beaded ones myself.” Pech wears a red beaded bracelet to match her shoes, which she pairs with a bold silver bangle she picked up in Chinatown.

Senior Milad Agah keeps his bracelet style simple. On one wrist, he wears a dark braided bracelet he bought while traveling in Mexico. On the other, he wears a green band supporting the Men’s Mental Health Club in memory of student Dylan Scirpo , who passed away in August. Agah and other students created the bracelets to spread awareness for the club and Scirpo. “I’ve just always worn it,” he said.

For senior Sara Nordlund, bracelets are more than accessories—they carry memories. The two gold bracelets, one featuring an “S” charm and the other a simple chain, were gifts from her mom. “I always have them on to remind me of her,” she said. The third bracelet she made with her friend, with each individual charm representing a shared moment.

Junior Kaia Moore wears her bracelets not just to accessorize but for the joy they bring. “I just like jewelry and accessorizing—it’s fun. It makes me feel happy,” she said. Her stack pairs two delicate, gold-toned bracelets with a sleek smartwatch. “My family likes to gift jewelry a lot, especially my grandma when she travels, so I always wear it,” she said.

Senior Abby Mancia pairs gold bangles and a watch with an evil eye bracelet, blending style with symbolism. “Gold just suits my skin tone more, so I like wearing it,” she said. Her evil eye bracelet, intended to absorb negative energy, adds a protective symbol to her daily accessories.

Freshman Ava Paruszewski opts for simple yet elegant accessories. “I like gold jewelry, and I feel like it just adds to my outfit,” she said. Many of her bracelets have been gifts from family and friends from over the years.

Junior Lusia Fonua wears a stack of gold bangles with pearls on one wrist and a sleek tortoiseshell bracelet on the other. “My mom bought them for me from a little swap meet in Hawaii about three weeks ago,” she said. Though recently gifted, the bracelets have quickly become her favorite. “I wear these every day. I never take them off,” she added.

Senior Perla Pedraza wears bracelets that each hold personal meaning. “The gold one was a Christmas gift from my brother, and it’s the only gold bracelet I have, so I wear it every day,” she said. The pink bracelet came from her sister’s first cruise, and the beaded bracelet was a gift brought from abroad, both symbolizing experiences Pedraza hopes to have one day.
