M-A’s boujee side has come out with fits from Essentials, Off-White, Golden Goose, and Alo Yoga. While some rock these brands for the name alone, others choose them for comfort or personal significance.

Senior Samantha Flores keeps it cozy and stylish in her signature grey Essentials hoodie. She pairs it with black leggings and Birkenstock clogs for a laid-back yet fashionable outfit. “It’s thick and the material’s good,” she said. “I just like the brand.”

Junior Gio Dentura went for an effortless vibe, rocking an all-black outfit with standout Off-White shoes. “I woke up three hours ago, so I just put this on,” Dentura said. “They’re bright and colorful. It feels nice to have these shoes, it’s like a trophy.”

Junior Ryland Caelius styles her Golden Goose sneakers with light wash jeans and a gray hoodie, a look that balances comfort and meaning. “They’re inspired by my grandmother, who bought them for me and who is someone I look up to,” she said.
“I like the fact that they come with scuffs so I don’t have to worry about getting them dirty,” she added. “They are worth the price, they go with everything, and add something to my outfit compared to a more basic shoe. They have also lasted me a long time considering how much I wear them.”

Sophomore Lila Weber threw on her Aviator Nation sweatshirt, inspired by her sister. “I saw it in her closet and thought it was super cute,” she said.
“The quality is good, but I don’t think it’s worth the price. You can find the same quality sweatshirt for much cheaper prices,” she added. “Aviator used to be a lot more popular, but I think people realized it was too expensive for what you were getting.”

Junior Kelsey Gardner cozies up in her Alo Yoga sweat set. “I really like the color and how it’s not too thick, so I’m not super hot throughout the day,” she said. “I have seen people wearing this brand around campus, and that inspired me to look into it and purchase, but I think it’s a bit pricey.”
