Top 5 Celsius Flavors for Finals Week

1 min read

In the midst of AP testing and studying for finals, M-A Bears are often left lacking sleep and with low energy during the day.

The famous Celsius* energy drink has made a name for itself with its variety of fruity vitamin-packed flavors and a high concentration of caffeine. With 18 Celsius flavors to choose from, I have taken the initiative to try all of them and narrow down my top five.

5. Sparkling Kiwi Guava

The taste of Sparkling Kiwi Guava reminds me of vacations in Hawaii, where drinking Passion Fruit Orange Guava (POG) juice is a daily necessity. This drink shares some similar flavors with a tropical punch Capri Sun but also has a strong kiwi taste. This is a flavor you drink when you want the taste of tropical fruits, but also hate overly artificial flavors. With summer around the corner, this is a perfect drink for the beach or enjoying the bright California sun.

4. Sparkling Orange

As simplistic as the flavor sounds, Sparkling Orange is delicious because it’s not too tart and has the perfect ratio of sweet and tangy. The additional carbonation makes the drink taste like a healthier version of orange soda. Truly a classic.

3. Sparkling Wild Berry

The Wild Berry flavor is beyond common in drinks and candies, and it’s pretty hard to mess up. This flavor is perfect any time of day and will always hit the spot. That said, it is a generic taste that won’t impress people who want something new from Celsius.

2. Sparkling Peach Vibe

Though I typically hate everything peach, this flavor is surprisingly delicious. The Sparkling White Peach flavor is sweet, refreshing, and not too artificial-tasting. Like other Celsius flavors, Peach Vibe contains nearly no aftertaste and boosted me with the perfect amount of caffeine to last me through the school day.

1. Sparkling Watermelon

Watermelon is a unique flavor for carbonated drinks, and Celcius nails it. The Celsius Sparkling Watermelon flavor makes you feel like you’re at the beach, even if you’re actually studying. The flavor is not too sweet which makes consuming energy drinks easy. Feeling indecisive but need caffeine? Sparkling Watermelon hits every time.

*The suggested caffeine intake for teens is 100mg. Celsius energy drinks have 200mg of caffeine per can and should be consumed in moderation.
