Recipe: Healthy Frozen Banana “Ice Cream”

This “ice cream” satisfies cravings for a yummy dessert and is easy to make. It is a healthy alternative to regular ice cream and is great for those who are lactose intolerant. Enjoy the many variations of this delicious treat in less than five minutes!

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana (peeled)

2 1/2 Tbsp of *milk (just enough to make the mixture the texture of soft serve ice cream)

*any kind of milk works (almond milk, soy milk, 1% milk ect.)

Variations

chocolate:

1/2 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

vanilla spice:

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

chai:

1 tbs chai tea mix

peanut butter chocolate:

1/2 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tbs creamy peanut butter

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then eat!
