Snapshots from the EPACENTER Halloween Party

Hundreds of EPA residents gathered for an evening of Halloween-themed activities at EPACENTER on Friday. In addition to participating in more scheduled performances and games, attendees wandered along Pulgas Ave. to trunk or treat, with children receiving candy from decorated parked cars.

Most visitors were families of young children, and with the street closed down and accented by eerie fog machines, the night developed into an upbeat block party emphasizing connection and imagination.

The gathering hosted games and other spectacles, including a bubble show, a costume contest, a bouncy house, a live DJ, pumpkin decorating, karaoke, and dancers wearing LED-illuminated dresses.

With blasting music, popcorn, lemonade, a food truck, and lots of candy, the colorful atmosphere made for a spooky and joyful Halloween Eve. Many residents shared that they hope to see more fun events like the Halloween Party on the city calendar.
