It’s wonderful that you are putting in the effort to have a good relationship with your teacher! Don’t be discouraged, though, there are plenty of plausible reasons that she may be talking to you less. For one, it’s the start of a busy semester, and many teachers have a lot on their plates. If she has time, try staying after class to talk or ask questions about something that interested you during the period. You will definitely learn something, and talking about something you are passionate about together strengthens most bonds.
