Leadership hosted its Night in Hollywood Prom at the San Francisco Design Center Galleria on Friday night. The venue glowed with string lights, sparkling sets, and elegant black and white decorations. Upperclassmen enjoyed capturing memories in the 3D videobooth, indulging in crêpes and frozen custard, playing table games, and dancing the night away.
“[My favorite part was] getting together with the community and seeing everybody,” senior Jimena Alvarado said.

The DJ kept the energy high all night, spinning hits such as “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny, “Rich Baby Daddy” by Drake, and “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, along with throwbacks like “Low” by Flo Rida, “Beauty and a Beat” by Justin Bieber, and “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. Colorful disco lights amplified the playlist’s lively vibes, keeping everyone on the dance floor.

The Galleria’s many floors and vast layout allowed for a variety of activities and areas to relax, ensuring that every student could find something they enjoyed.
When they were not on the dance floor, students refueled with treats like sweet and savory crêpes and ice cream from the frozen custard bar. Food remained a popular stop that kept everyone energized throughout the night.
Students could also join in on games like blackjack and poker at the casino tables filling the third floor, which offered an alternative for those who preferred activities other than dancing.
“[The best parts were] the vibes overall and the dresses,” senior Chionna Mems said. “I think the people made it better.”
On the first level, a photobooth was available for students to take photos with friends and dates. On the fourth floor, a 3D videobooth offered a unique experience for students to get dynamic videos that captured the essence of the night.

Toward the end of the night, Leadership teacher Michael Amoroso announced the 2026 Prom Court, which included juniors Sydney Labonte and Caleb Swartzberg, along with seniors Apé Ulukivaiola and Semya Dixon.
“I think the venue is nice and the vibes are there,” senior Matei Tau said.
“I love the community and coming together with my friends,” junior Josie McGuire said.
Overall, the Hollywood-themed Prom served as a much-needed reprieve from finals prep and end-of-year stress. The music, food, and activities created an upbeat atmosphere, leaving everyone buzzing with excitement.
